I know, I know. I can't keep a blog going for the life of me. That's why I have a shelf in my bedroom dedicated to half finished journals, diaries, and logs.
It's GREAT.
So, it's the first real day of Spring Break and I have done absolutely NOTHING, which is cool by me. I mean, I have the next week to do stuff, so I'm just going to chill out this weekend. Maybe work on some school stuff, but mostly relax.
Yea, I've got State Competition for Academic Knowledge Team next weekend, and I'm kind of afraid to go, but it should be a lot of fun. The questions they ask drive me absolutely nutzo though.
Normally, our questions are like 'Who painted 'The Nighthawks', a painting depicting three people sitting in a diner after hours?'.
STATE questions go from point A to point B in the strangest way possible and ask the DUMBEST questions.
For instance, 'Throughout history, there have been numerous Impressionist painters. Some of the most famous were Monet and Manet, both of which painted with vibrant colors. What color is created with blue and yellow?'
It's totally ghei.
And, w00t, I get my new glasses tomorrow!
They look REALLY cool. I mean, I like my contacts and all, but on the weekends, I usually just wear my glasses to make things easier.
Besides, my contacts are really itchy now that I've had them for, like, a week.
It's weird.
Another weird thing is that the infamous Kyle B. and I actually managed to exchange civil comments on MySpace.
Cue the X-Files theme.
Hmmmm. .. . .I can't think of anything else to type, so I think I'm done for now.
